9/23/98 12:41 PM South soda We walked through tall, tall cattails into clear water, waist deep. The water was warm. Also, the bottom was pretty firm, unlike most of the lakes. Seeing lots of green aquatic plants made me want to dive under the lake and see who lived down there. The cattails ringing around this lake gave it a sheltered, secluded feeling. There was a heron feeding in this lake when we waded through the cattail trail into the lake. |
