Bio

As a creator, I have published photo's, cooked gourmet food for crowds, performed and recorded with several singing groups.

As a technician, I have been troubleshooting for many years. The process is now so familiar to me that people ask me to fix everything from xray machines to MIDI keyboards to home theater systems. I don't have any experience fixing these things, it's just that these people have faith in my ability to resolve technical glitches. And I do get them fixed.

As a visionary, I generate ideas constantly. My PalmPilot is full of them. This ability to generate ideas also lets me chart a path to a goal. I am great at coming up with creative solutions.

As a sponge, I have a semi-photographic memory. I carry around with me details from a thousand articles and books I've read. I am a bibliophile and I collect resources on topics I am interested in so I can often act as a reference librarian for people who are looking for information.

I have a lively intellectual curiosity.

I am always interested in the thoughts and feelings of others.

I am easily inspired.

I am seldom bored.

I am self taught.

I feel a special responsibility to envision a future which goes in a different direction from the current direction. I donate my time and my money to good causes.

I am a good father to my daughter.

I am a good friend to my friends. As Anna Quindlen says, "I show up. I listen. I try to laugh."

I am a renaissance man.

This is my real resume, because it says more about what parts of me I use when I am working...the same parts I use in the rest of my life. I believe these are the important qualities about me which an employer or client will really consider useful. I can easily aquire new skills; attitude and character have a much steeper learning curve.
